| local.description.resumo | Supernumerary teeth are defined in the literature as an increase in the number of teeth in a normal given individual relative to first dentition or permanent dentition. Multiple supernumerary teeth are present in cleidocranial dysplasia and Gardner Syndrome or family history of such teeth. Non syndromic multiple teeth are a rare condition. More than ten supernumerary teeth in the four quadrants are extremely rare. The present study aims to describe a rare case of multiple supernumerary teeth encountered in non syndromic Brazilian child with a total of fourteen teeth presented in all quadrants which were removed surgically. | |
