Lists and literature: critico-theoretical trajectories

Resumo
O presente artigo visa problematizar os efeitos do uso de listas na literatura e pretende servir para ampliar e esclarecer os limites formais e interpretativos das listas: questões relativas à denominação e à definição, dimensão, fechamento/abertura, atos de leitura e questões hermenêuticas. Discute também outros aspectos: as listas carregam o leitor para dentro ou para fora do texto literário? Quais seriam os pontos de partida e chegada do uso de listas na literatura? Para tanto, serão discutidos autores que, direta ou indiretamente, teorizaram a respeito das listas e cujo pensamento tem sido referência em contextos internacionais; entre outros, destacam-se Umberto Eco, Philippe Hamon, Jack Goody, Madeleine Jeay, Bernard Sève, entre outros. Os seguintes eixos-conceitos guiarão a discussão pretendida: ordem e desordem das listas, as listas e seus efeitos geradores de f(r)icção, a poética da lista ou da enumeração, estruturas enumerativas e descrições utópicas, as listas e a enunciação paródica, o poder subversivo das listas, inventário e arquivo em listas, acumulação e repetição paródica.
Abstract
The present article aims at problematizing the effects of the use of lists in literature and serves to broaden and clarify the formal and interpretative limits of such lists; it broaches questions regarding terminology and definition, dimension issues, closure/openness issues, questions about reading choices, hermeneutical questions. Further questions are raised: does the list carry list carry the reader in or Further questions are raised: does the list carry the departure and arrival points of the use of lists in literature be? In addition, this article reflects on studies conducted by authors who theorized either directly or indirectly on such lists and whose thinking has been a reference in international contexts, authors such as Umberto Eco, Philippe Hamon, Jack Goody, Madeleine Jeay, Bernard Sève, among others, will be considered here. The following conceptual axes guide the intended discussion: order and disorder in lists, lists and their f(r)iction-generating effects, poetics of a list or of the enumeration, enumerative structures and utopian descriptions, lists and parodic enunciation, subversive power of lists, inventory and list archive, accumulation and parodic repetition.
