This article, of theoretical character, held a brief theoretical review on the concepts related to the subject of strategic alignment, seeking less a theoretical foundation and overview on the subject. This study contributes to an understanding of the concepts, approaches and theoretical models that relate directly to the strategic alignment. At the end, it appears there's a conceptual diversity involving the subject of strategic alignment, generating various concepts and models of strategic alignment, this situation will unfold in theoretical and methodological difficulties relevant to the field of studies on strategy.
