A produção social do conhecimento na psicologia social brasileira: um estudo descritivo/exploratório a partir da revista Psicologia & Sociedade

Resumo
A Psicologia Social brasileira sofreu, assim como a Psicologia Social norteamericana e européia, em especial, nas décadas de 1960 e 1970, transformações significativas que afetaram tanto sua produção científica quanto sua organização acadêmica, política e institucional. Com o intuito de auxiliar na compreensão do desenvolvimento histórico da área pós-crise da Psicologia Social, este trabalho teve como objetivo analisar parte de sua organização social no contexto brasileiro, a partir de seu principal periódico, a revista Psicologia & Sociedade: Revista da Associação Brasileira de Psicologia Social (ABRAPSO). Para isso, foram analisados todos os artigos constantes na revista, entre os anos 1986 e 2007, sendo esses divididos em duas fases distintas. Assim, o total de 587 trabalhos, distribuídos em 36 revistas, constituiu a fonte primária desta pesquisa. Informações como: a origem institucional e geográfica dos autores, o padrão de autoria, a formação dos autores, o local de organização da revista, o tipo e as temáticas dos trabalhos publicados, os locais de realização das investigações e intervenções descritas nos artigos foram algumas das informações analisadas. A interpretação desses dados foi realizada à luz de discussões teóricas acerca da construção social do conhecimento, assim, disciplinas como a História da Ciência, Sociologia da Ciência e Ciência da Informação auxiliaram no trabalho analítico, o que possibilitou, entre outras coisas, identificar determinados padrões de organização da comunidade científica na história da Psicologia Social brasileira pós-crise da Psicologia social. A relação entre o contexto de produção de conhecimento e a origem institucional dos autores; a mudança nos tipos e temáticas dos trabalhos e suas funções devido ao período histórico; a organização institucional da Psicologia Social e sua possível relação com a situação da ciência brasileira, considerando suas transformações nas últimas décadas, foram alguns aspectos detectados e discutidos nesta investigação.
Abstract
The Brazilian Social Psychology suffered especially in the 1960s and 1970s, significant changes that affected both his scientific production as its organization academic, political and institutional. In order to assist in understanding the historical development of the area post-crisis Social Psychology, the study aimed to examine part of their social organization in the Brazilian context, from its main journal, the journal Psychology & Society: Journal of the Association Brazil's Social Psychology (ABRAPSO). To do this, we analyzed all articles appearing in the magazine, between the years 1986 and 2007, these being divided into two distinct phases. Thus, a total of 587 papers, distributed in 36 magazines, was the primary source of this research. Information such as: the institutional and geographical origin of the authors, the pattern of authorship, the formation of the authors, the place of organization of the magazine, the type and the issues of published works, places of carrying out the research described in articles and speeches have been some the information analyzed. The interpretation of these data was made in light of theoretical discussions about the social construction of knowledge, therefore, subjects suchas the History of Science, Sociology of Science and Information Science helped in the analytical work, which allowed, among other things, identify certain patterns organization of the scientific community. The relationship between the context of generating knowledge and institutional home for authors, the change in the types and themes of work and theirduties because of the historical period, the institutional organization of Social Psychology and its possible relationship to the situation of Brazilian science, considering their changes in recent decades, some aspects have been identified and discussed in this research.
