| dc.description.abstract | The Breastfeeding is a natural process and its benefits both for the baby and the mother are unquestionable. Despite their advantages,early weaning has taken place many often the result of difficulties faced by mothers on subject. Breastfeeding is a natural process whose success is multifactorial depending on the mothers and the commitment of health professionals involved with the mother and child. The cessation of breastfeeding before 6 months of life the baby is reaching significant numbers even with the advantages of this practice. Motivated by the complexity of the act of nursing faces the current practices of the mothers that work was developed with the objective of performing a literature review, to address the key issues which include the success of breastfeeding. It is necessary that all those involved with the mothers are aware of the importance of this practice to the health and well-being of the baby | |

| local.description.resumo | A amamentação é um processo natural e seus benefícios tanto para o bebê quanto para a mãe são inquestionáveis. Apesar de suas vantagens, o desmame precoce tem ocorrido muitas vezes em decorrência das dificuldades enfrentadas pelas mães sobre o assunto. O aleitamento materno é um processo natural cujo sucesso é multifatorial dependendo da puérpera e do compromisso dos profissionais de saúde envolvidos com o binômio mãe-filho. A interrupção do aleitamento materno antes do 6º mês de vida do bebê vem alcançando números significativos mesmo diante das vantagens desta prática. Motivados pela complexidade que o ato de amamentar enfrenta nas práticas atuais das puérperas esse trabalho se desenvolveu com objetivo de realizar uma revisão de literatura, a fim de abordarmos os principais aspectos que contemplam o sucesso do aleitamento materno. É necessário que todas as pessoas envolvidas com a nutriz estejam cientes da importância desta prática para a saúde e o bem-estar do bebê | |
