Resumo
O presente trabalho investiga a articulação entre palavra, imagem e objeto na poética visual da artista brasileira Marilá Dardot. Parte-se de uma análise do uso da palavra na arte contemporânea, resgatando a relação entre linguagem e visualidade, à luz da expressão horaciana ut pictura poesis e das contribuições da poesia concreta brasileira. A pesquisa discute como a palavra, ao adquirir corpo, forma e presença material, torna-se elemento plástico nas artes visuais, transcendendo sua função comunicativa. A produção de Dardot é analisada a partir de obras como o vídeo Diário (2015) e seus livros de artista, evidenciando o diálogo entre palavra, imagem e participação do espectador. O estudo também contempla práticas pedagógicas desenvolvidas em sala de aula inspiradas na obra da artista, que promovem a intersecção entre arte, ensino e criação. Por fim, a investigação se insere no campo da pesquisa artística, onde se entrelaçam teoria, prática e docência, tendo como eixo central a noção de "concreções poéticas", entendida como a materialização sensível da linguagem no campo expandido da arte contemporânea.
Abstract
This work investigates the articulation between word, image, and object in the visual poetics of Brazilian artist Marilá Dardot. It begins with an analysis of the use of language in contemporary art, revisiting the relationship between language and visuality in light of Horace’s expression ut pictura poesis and the contributions of Brazilian concrete poetry. The research discusses how the word, by acquiring body, form, and material presence, becomes a plastic element in the visual arts, transcending its communicative function. Dardot’s production is analyzed through works such as the video Diário (2015) and her artist’s books, highlighting the dialogue between word, image, and viewer participation. The study also considers pedagogical practices developed in the classroom inspired by the artist’s work, which promote intersections between art, education, and creation. Finally, the investigation is situated within the field of artistic research, where theory, practice, and teaching intertwine, with the central axis being the notion of “poetic concretions,” understood as the sensitive materialization of language within the expanded field of contemporary art.
