Ensinando física conceitual e uma proposta de estudo das dificuldades dos estudantes

Abstract

In this paper, I report the experience with two disciplines of Conceptual Physics that have been offered to students of the Physics course, especially those of the Degree, since 2006. I present the motivation for this offer, I describe the dynamics used in the disciplines, which have high student participation, and report the impact it is having on the course. Below, I present some examples of issues discussed in the disciplines and the students' doubts on these issues - this points to a theme that needs to be better understood: what leads students at this level of education, almost at the end of graduation, to still have such difficulties. I then present a proposal for a study to be carried out with this audience – students at the end of the Physics course – to try to raise the reasons for these difficulties. I conclude by defending the importance of these disciplines, mainly, but not exclusively, for the Degree, and the relevance of trying to raise the factors that led to these gaps in training.
