local.description.resumoComplex networks have been the subject of great interest in the scientific community.This is justified by the great number of physical systems that can be represented by these models.In this work, a resilience analysis in Kuramoto networks is carried out, motivated by the abilityof such networks to represent electrical power systems. Two examples were studied: a test systemand a large scale model of the Brazilian power system. The goal is to determine the effect of thechoice of representation (Effective Network, Structure-Preserving or Synchronous Motor) on theresilience measure of these systems. By using a concept called basin stability, which quantifiesthe non-local stability, it was found that the approaches are not fully equivalent with respect tonode classification.
