Resumo
O presente trabalho teve como objetivo descrever as ações educativas nutricionais no âmbito escolar, uma vez que a escola é espaço de grande relevância para promoção da saúde, principalmente quando exerce papel fundamental na formação do cidadão crítico, estimulandoa autonomia, o exercício de direitos e deveres, o controle das condições de saúde e qualidade de vida, com opção por atitudes mais saudáveis. As iniciativas de promoção da saúde escolar constituem ações efetivas para a consecução dos objetivos citados. Desta forma, tem se discutido muito à respeito do tema, a importância da educação alimentar e nutricional para a promoção da saúde por meio da formação de hábitos alimentares saudáveis, bem como, a escolha do ambiente escolar como privilegiado para esse fim. Nesse sentido, foi feita uma revisão bibliográfica, propondo o início de uma discussão sobre a promoção de hábitos alimentares saudáveis no âmbito escolar, através da inserção da educação nutricional no contexto escolar. Portanto, salienta-se a necessidade da inserção da educação nutricional desde a infância no ambiente escolar, com difusão destes conhecimentos para uma melhorqualidade de vida
Abstract
This study aimed to describe the nutritional educational activities in the school, since the school is a space of great relevance for health promotion, especially when plays a fundamental role in the formation of critical citizens, encouraging autonomy, rights exercise and duties, control of health and quality of life, with an option for healthier attitudes. Theschool health promotion initiatives are effective actions to achieve the above objectives. Thus, it has been discussed a lot about the subject, "the importance of food and nutrition education for health promotion through the development of healthy eating habits," as well as the choiceof school as a privileged environment for this purpose. In this sense, a literature review was made, suggesting the start of a discussion on the promotion of healthy eating habits in schools, through the insertion of nutrition education in the school context. Therefore stresses the need of inclusion of nutrition education from childhood in the school environment, with dissemination of knowledge for a better quality of life.
