Aberturas e atravessamentos: poéticas da ação na arte urbana hoje

Abstract

The sense of openness and crossing in this article will reveal the potential of many artistic manifestations activated in public spaces, leading us to multidisciplinary interactions and contamination with the city and the social space, through noise and diversified provocations. Three initiatives by artists from Belo Horizonte, - one in the form of a grant call, which was opened three consecutive times - help in this reflection, seeking to point out the diversity of possibilities, tools and artistic conducts that appropriate routine and sometimes banal circumstances, which causes an impact, poetically and critically, into the daily lives of cities. The Case Vecana, elaborated by the Collective Marimbondo, some of the experiences created by the artist Paulo Nazareth and the project Walls: Shared Territories, are the three studied cases presented and it is within this brief set that is proposed to question the geopolitical and artistic boundaries that are currently visibly blurred.
