O corpo entre as linhas e as curvas de Oscar Niemeyer: um dançar sobre a Pampulha

Abstract

In Pampulha /Belo Horizonte / MG, among the most outstanding works of Oscar Niemeyer, we highlight the projects of the House of the Dance, the Church of San Francisco, the Museum of Modern Art and the house of Juscelino Kubistchek. Niemeyer united the representation of our natural scenery, through the curves, connecting the urban landscape with the daily lines. In this context, understanding that the body and the city merge in directions that are given to see, the proposal of this work is to understand this fusion and its incarnated signs through the dance. The methodology used is the experimentation of the body in dance, inserted in the spaces of the buildings delimited by the research, in view of the composition of a choreographic and mediatic text. The incarnate senses are treated and investigated as semiotized realities from the perspective of Algirdas J. Greimas while the analysis of the movement is based on Rudolf Laban.
