Serviço social e reabilitação profissional : atendimento de trabalhador urbano acidentado segurado pelo regime geral de Previdência Social

Abstract

This article aims to inform about the demand for social service and its competence to act in the professional rehabilitation process. However, despite its competence, the occupational rehabilitation system was often deprived of the worker's right. The State, through the Social Security Autarchy, represented by the INSS, denied the right of many workers affected by occupational diseases who seek judicialization to preserve their rights. There is a lack of practical application in the Brazilian social security system. The workers are inserted in a professional rehabilitation process without criteria of the worker's health legislation and often without the due judicial compliance reached by the worker by legal means. The objective of the research is to demonstrate the importance of Social Work and the difficulties faced by workers who are totally helpless, being removed from their rights. The objectives are to inform, outline, quote and justify the theme proposed here through a case study. Often, the worker feels tired by the repeated situations of difficulties imposed by the system itself. Therefore, in the work presented here in the form of a bibliographic review, the criticisms come through the case study, supporting the work that opes, through the report, here in the form of an outline, that other workers can take care of their health without risks imposed by the system.
