Resumo
Este trabalho teve como objetivo obter informações sobre os/as adolescentes e seus projetos para o futuro. A pesquisa e plano de ação buscaram compreender as projeções de futuro de adolescentes sobre a vida profissional, familiar e seus desejos. Os sujeitos participantes têm entre 14 e 15 anos e são estudantes do nono ano do Ensino Fundamental de uma escola pública municipal de Belo Horizonte. Alguns questionamentos orientaram a pesquisa, afinal, estes/as adolescentes pensam e planejam sobre o futuro? A escola é espaço de escuta e reflexão sobre os projetos de futuro de estudantes? Em que espaços sociais os/as adolescentes têm a possibilidade de refletirem sobre si mesmos? Como profissional da educação, posso contribuir para potencializar a reflexão e planejamento de adolescentes e estudantes na instituição escolar? Esta pesquisa foi também desenvolvida como um plano de ação. A coleta de dados e intervenção teve como instrumento a realização de uma roda de conversas em que os/as adolescentes puderam expor suas ideias e suas expectativas sobre o futuro, suas emoções, dúvidas e incertezas. Conclui-se que a adolescência é uma fase de intensas transformações e mudanças comportamentais, corporais e psicológicas, contudo, os/as adolescentes são sujeitos reflexivos e pensantes, condição que a escola nem sempre está atenta. A roda de conversa revelou que os sujeitos pensam e planejam sobre o futuro, mesmo com todas as intempéries que vivenciam. Assim, a escola poderia ser espaço para potencializar as reflexões e planejamentos desses sujeitos.
Abstract
The present work had the aim of gathering information about the future
projects of adolescents in school age. The survey and plan of action intended to
understand the future projections of adolescents regarding their professional lives,
familiar lives and their desires. The subjects of the survey have 14-15 years of age
and students of the ninth grade of a public school in Belo Horizonte. Some questions
guided the survey regarding what these adolescents think and plan for their future. Is
the school a listening and reflection space about future projects? In what social
environment has the youth the chance to inquire themselves? Can I, as an education professional help to potentialize self-reflection and planning of student youth at school? This survey was developed also as an action plan. The data gathering and intervention took place in a classroom conversation circle during which the adolescents were able to expose their ideas and their expectations about the future, their emotions, doubts and uncertainties. It is possible that the youth is a period of intense transformations and behavioral changes, besides psychological changes and changes in their bodies. However, adolescents are reflective and thinking beings, condition which schools are not always aware of. The conversation circle revealed that these students think and plan the future even under hardships. Thus, the school environment may be a space to push for reflections and personal planning of each student.
