A verdade no discurso analítico e o encontro com a socioeducação

Abstract

This dissertation presents a reflection on the place of the subject’s truth in a socio-educational institution. The subject of the investigation came from listening to adolescents in a context of deprivation of liberty. Teens complained that they were not being listened at the institution because their statements were not considered "true". Thus, the guiding question of this investigation came up: "What is the place of the subject’s truth in a control device?". In order to make this discussion, we first present the legislation that guides the work with adolescents authors of infractions acts in the State of Minas Gerais, to then reflect on the logic of surveillance and standardization vigilance and normalization of bodies through the theoretical contributions of Michel Foucault, Jeremy Bentham and Erving Goffman, in dialogue with authors of psychoanalysis. We reflect on the specificities of the notion of truth in psychoanalysis, differentiating it from the juridical conception, to analyze the deletion of subjective truth in these institutional contexts. We introduce the notion of adolescence in psychoanalytic theory to reflect on the specificities of criminal practice in this logical time, and finally, we present a reflection on the relation between knowledge and truth in the four speeches elaborated by Jacques Lacan, from Seminar book 17: wrong side of psychoanalysis, analyzing the discursive implications on the subject's truth in the socio-educational institution. We conclude that the analyst's discourse, in this institutional context, can make the subject emerge in its dimension of division, making room for the emergence of its truth, while semi-saying.
