| Abstract: | Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo compreender de que forma os filmes Fresa y Chocolate (1993) e Guantanamera (1995), ambos codirigidos pela dupla Tomás Gutiérrez Alea e Juan Carlos Tabío, constroem suas narrativas como um reflexo e uma reflexão de e sobre Cuba. Para isso, a pesquisa se apropria da fundamentação teórica de devolução das imagens de Didi-Huberman (2015) e analisa individualmente a construção das narrativas dos filmes a partir de elementos intertextuais, contextuais, simbólicos e metafóricos. A pesquisa propõe também uma análise comparativa entre as obras levando em consideração suas constantes e variáveis, com o intuito de compreender melhor o trabalho da codireção e sua forma de devolver as imagens à Cuba. |
| Abstract: | This research aims to understand how the films Fresa y Chocolate (1993) and Guantanamera (1995), both co-directed by the duo Tomás Gutiérrez Alea and Juan Carlos Tabío, build their narratives as a reflection of and about Cuba. In order to reach that aim the research appropriates Didi-Huberman's (2015) theoretical basis of the devolution of images and individually analyzes the construction of narratives based on intertextual, contextual, symbolic and metaphorical elements. The research also proposes a comparative analysis between the movies, considering its constants and variables, to better understand the work of co-direction and how it returns the images to Cuba. |
