Abstract: Na gestação, a mulher passa por inúmeras transformações, tanto no âmbito corporal como no emocional.

Pregnant women were invited to the first meeting of the group through an invitation distributed by the Community Health Agents. The topic discussed in this meeting was chosen by them, as well as the following. At the end of the meeting was given a sheet to the evaluation and suggestions for other topics. The groups are people with different life history, but with similar interests gather to reflect critically about common themes, and may in the collective construct knowledge sets, overcome their limitations and recognize their social roles. The implementation of groups of pregnant women is critical to ensure an integrated approach, but in gestational period-specific assistance.
