A valorização do edifício patrimonial através da iluminação artificial - estudo de caso : Academia Olguin, Ipatinga / MG

Abstract

This research has as a premise the proposal of a lighting intervention on the façade of the Olguin Academy, a heritage property located in the city of Ipatinga, Minas Gerais, in order to corroborate the importance of preserving the building, thus avoiding its physical and symbolic decay of the Heritage Cultural. From the field observations, photographic records and interview with involved, the deterioration of the building was verified due to the absence of maintenance and necessary reforms for its full functioning. However, the main obstacle to the realization of these works was the money, however, through a State program, the amount needed to finance these urgent reforms was released in November 2017, allowing the full functioning of the activities in the building, with the result that the lighting on the façade would be a complementary project that aims to enhance the architecture of the building respecting its particularities to maintain its integrity. It is believed that the proposed, this cultural space will once again become representative in the region and will bring meaning to the artistic-sports scene, since it will reinforce its origins and enhance the dance and martial arts, important activities in the formation of citizens of the Vale do Steel, in addition, lighting will transform the urban scenery and foster preservation actions in the city.
