O livro de artista: possibilidade como material didático pedagógico para ensino das artes visuais

Abstract

This monograph has the artist's book as an object of study, which despite being peculiar in the area of fine arts, is not always used as a methodological resource in the educational scenario. I expect to bring to knowledge, not only the artist's book as a didactic material and also as an initiative for the artistic production, but to show its role in the teaching-learning process. This study presents to the educational sphere the use of the artist's book as a didactic/pedagogical material and how it can be used in a multidisciplinary way in the practical activities of the Art classes, and associated with other disciplines of the school curriculum, allowing teachers and students to think of new ways to make Art. The methodology used was bibliographic, interpretative, descriptive, and investigative, using primary and secondary sources, such as books, articles, theses, monographs, and research projects from Brazil and abroad. With this monograph, I intended to prove that, for the artist's book to become effective at school, the teacher must also be a researcherartist and use any and all resources that may aid the understanding and teaching of Visual Arts.
