| Abstract: | A proposta deste ensaio é refletir sobre práticas de aliança que se desdobram a partir do encontro com mestres e mestras integrantes da Formação Transversal em Saberes Tradicionais da UFMG; práticas que incluem conhecimentos não antropológicos, oriundos da área das Ciências Sociais ditas Aplicadas. Tais práticas de aliança, para se tornarem possíveis, devem beneficiar-se da reflexão autocrítica feita dentro da disciplina antropológica acerca dos encontros com aqueles que costumávamos chamar de “outros”, por um lado, e podem, por outro, partilhar questões e desafios transversais às diversas disciplinas anfitriãs. A figura da “quase-etnógrafa-etc.” pretende dialogar, em contraponto, com a figura do “artista como etnógrafo” do texto de Hal Foster de 1995, por meio da reflexão sobre o papel de professora anfitriã e as reversibilidades, simetrias e colaborações implicadas. A reflexão será conduzida por meio de três episódios no âmbito da UFMG: uma pergunta equivocada; uma proposição bibliográfica; e uma proposição expográfica. |
| Abstract: | The purpose of this essay is to reflect on alliance practices that unfold from the meeting with masters members of the Transversal Formation in Traditional Knowledge at UFMG; practices that include non-anthropological knowledge from the area of Applied Social Sciences. Such alliance practices, to become possible, must benefit from self-critical reflection made within the anthropological discipline about meetings with those we used to call "others", on the one hand, and can, on the other hand, share issues and challenges across the various host disciplines. The figure of the "quasi-ethnographer-etc." intends to dialogue, in counterpoint, with the figure of the "artist as ethnographer" of Hal Foster's 1995 text, through reflection on the role of hostess and the reversibilities, symmetries and collaborations involved. The reflection will be conducted through three episodes within the UFMG: a mistaken question; a bibliographical proposition; and an expographical proposition. |
