| Abstract: | O presente trabalho analisa quais são os benefícios da produção de documentação técnica destinada à obra a partir de ferramentas BIM (modelagem da informação da construção, na sigla em inglês). Percebe-se um aumento na difusão dessas ferramentas no cenário atual (EASTMAN et al., 2018). Na maioria dos casos, a propaganda pró-BIM o situa como solução para diversos problemas da cadeia de produção da indústria da arquitetura, engenharia e construção (AEC). A partir de uma pesquisa bibliográfica qualitativa de cunho exploratório, objetiva-se destacar os benefícios da representação técnica obtidas a partir do BIM. Essa pesquisa situa a modelagem da informação da construção em relação aos métodos convencionais de projeto (CAD 2D e 3D), sob a perspectiva da representação técnica a fim de destacar possíveis avanços. Observou-se nesse trabalho que há vantagens no uso da documentação técnica de obra a partir do BIM. Isso se dá pela possiblidade do uso de modelos virtuais que funcionam como protótipos de construções reais que fornecem alternativas de visualização mais completas da obra. Nesse sentido, a partir dos exemplos coletados nesse trabalho, entende-se que o BIM representa também um avanço na forma de representar e produzir a construção. |
| Abstract: | The present study analyzes the benefits of the technical documentation designed for construction using BIM (Building Information Modeling). There is a widespread increase in the propagation of these tools in the current scenario (EASTMAN et al., 2018). In most cases, the pro-BIM advertisement poses it as a solution to many problems of the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry and their production chain. Based on an exploratory qualitative bibliographic research, the purpose of this study is to highlight the benefits of technical representation using BIM. This research places the building information modeling in relation to conventional design methods (2D and 3D CAD), under the perspective of technical representation, in order to foreground possible developments. Advantages in the use of technical documentation designed for construction using BIM were observed. This was due to the possibility of using virtual models that work as prototypes of real-life constructions that provide alternatives for a more complete visualization of the buildings. Therefore, grounded on the examples collected in this study, it is reasoned that BIM represents a development in the way of representing and producing construction. |
