| Abstract: | O presente trabalho tem por escopo a análise da doutrina a respeito da responsabilidade civil dos fornecedores de alimentos transgênicos. A pesquisa permitiu aferir que os fornecedores diretos ou indiretos de alimentos que contenham substâncias transgênicas devem ser responsabilizados por eventuais danos que venham causar aos consumidores. A responsabilidade decorre de imposição legal e moral, pois assumem um risco ao fornecer tais alimentos. Sua atividade lucrativa não pode trazer prejuízos ao público alvo, especialmente no que diz respeito à saúde. |
| Abstract: | The present work has as scope the analysis of the doctrine regarding the civil liability of the transgenic food suppliers. The research made it possible to gauge that direct or indirect suppliers of food containing transgenic substances should be held liable for any damages they may cause to consumers. The responsibility stems from legal and moral imposition, as they take a risk in providing such food. Their profitable activity cannot harm the target public, especially with regard to health. |
