| Abstract: | Esse trabalho visa analisar os potenciais impactos das obras de infraestrutura urbana e viária implementadas na década de 2000 na região do Vetor Norte da cidade de Belo Horizonte para a conformação de centralidades urbanas. Utilizando-se dados do Cadastro Municipal de Contribuintes de Tributos Mobiliários da Prefeitura de Belo Horizonte, foi construído um índice de análise de aglomerações produtivas. A análise consiste em verificar quais os efeitos do desenvolvimento de Grandes Projetos Urbanos (GPUs) sobre o grau de especialização de bens e serviços ofertados em diferentes espaços urbanos. Os principais resultados sugerem rigidez da regional Centro-Sul enquanto provedora de serviços especializados e a formação de núcleos especializados contínuos às centralidades estabelecidas - que reforçam centralidades suburbanas. Também foram identificados reforços pontuais nas regionais do Vetor Norte, a depender do tipo de serviço analisado, o que sugere que os GPUs podem ter reforçado centralidades pré existentes, mas que seus impactos foram limitados. |
| Abstract: | This dissertation aims to analyze the potential impacts of urban and road infrastructure works implemented in the 2000s in the North Vec tor region of the city of Belo Horizonte for the conformation of urban centralities. Using the database of the Municipal Register of Taxpayers of the Belo Horizonte City (CMC), an index of analysis of productive agglomerations was built. The analysis consi sts of verifying the effects of the development of Large Urban Projects (GPUs) on the level of specialization of goods and services offered in different urban spaces. The main results suggest the rigidity of the CenterSouth region as a provider of special ized services and the formation of specialized centers continuing to the established centralities which reinforce suburban centralities. Punctual reinforcements were also identified in the regions of North Vector, depending on the type of service analyze d, which suggests that GPUs may have reinforced preexisting centralities, but that it’s impacts were limited. |
