Title: | Adaptação marginal de copings metálicos confeccionados no sistema CAD/CAM CEREC |
Authors: | Guilherme Moraes Garcia Leão |
First Advisor: | Ricardo Rodrigues Vaz |
Abstract: | The present study verified the marginal adaptation between the metallic infrastructure for metal-ceramic restoration and the anatomical trunnion-type prosthetic component for cone morse implant using the CEREC system (Sirona Dental Company, Germany). For the execution of the present laboratory study was made a rectangular aluminum base with height of 2.5cm and width of 2.5cm. In the center of the base was installed an implant of the cone morse system with 11,0mm of length and 4.0mm of diameter and fixed an anatomical trunnion cone morse. The master model was scanned by the CAD / Cerec Omnicam unit. With the image file generated, the coping was designed in the CEREC Premium Software SW 4.4.2 and exported to the software CEREC Premium CAM SW 4.4.2 for milling. Four copings were achieved using the MCXL Miller and VITA CAD-Waxx blocks with Shaper 25RZ and Finisher 10 cutters and obtained by the lost wax process using nickel-chromium alloy metal. The verification of the cervical adaptation was performed using the Mitutoyo (TM 500) optical comparator microscope at the interface between the metallic / prosthetic component at the mesial, buccal, distal and lingual surfaces. The results showed an average cervical inadaptation of 146.0 μm, however this value was higher than the clinically acceptable marginal discrepancy. |
