dc.description.abstract | This work had as fundamental objective to identify if the Information and Knowledge Management has been determinant to assist the process of decision making in the Sistema OCEMG. And it is justified in the fact that we are living the age of information and knowledge and this being an input necessary to generate intelligence, a differential factor of competitiveness. The descriptive research was carried out in a qualitative way, using the case study method. From seven interviews with employees of the Sistema OCEMG, being: a representative of the board, three actors that act directly in the area of storage and production of information and three users of the information. The results show that the Information and Knowledge Management in the Sistema OCEMG has been substantially important for the decision making of the senior management. However, it makes clear that this activity is in a natural evolutionary process, which still has much capacity for progression. | pt_BR |
