| Abstract: | O trabalho objetiva estudar teórica e empiricamente a mensuração e a distribuição de oportunidades no mercado de trabalho por meio da proposição de um índice de igualdade de oportunidades para os municípios brasileiros nos anos de 2000 e 2010, buscando compreender a distribuição das oportunidades de trabalho no espaço brasileiro e suas múltiplas dimensões ao longo do tempo. A análise também é realizada contemplando o tamanho e hierarquia dos municípios. Os resultados apontam para um processo de reestruturação sócio-espacial, com desconcentração nas metrópoles e espaços metropolitanos e com a ascensão das cidades pequenas e médias e das cidades menos influentes como espaços privilegiados em termos da melhoria da oferta de serviços e das características da mão de obra. Além disso, pode ser observado um padrão de convergência regional no que diz respeito ao índice global de igualdade de oportunidades e a seus índices componentes, nas regiões norte e nordeste. |
| Abstract: | The work aims to study theoretical and empirical measurement and distribution opportunities in the labor market by proposing an equality index for Brazilian cities in 2000 and 2010, trying to understand the distribution of job opportunities in space Brazil and its multiple dimensions over time. The analysis is also performed considering the size and hierarchy of municipalities. The results point to a socio-spatial restructuring process, with decentralization in cities and metropolitan areas and the rise of small and medium cities and less influential cities as privileged spaces in terms of improving the supply of services and hand characteristics of work. Moreover, it can be observed a pattern of regional convergence in relation to the overall index equal opportunities and its component indices, the North and Northeast regions. |
