O texto foi publicado novamente no ano de 1822, com o título ligeiramente alterado para Vom künstlerischen Werte der alten griechischen Komödie [Do valor artístico da antiga comédia grega], nas Sämtliche Werke, as obras completas editadas pelo próprio Schlegel. Esta tradução partiu do texto estabelecido pela edição crítica das obras completas de Friedrich Schlegel organizadas por Ernst Behler, a qual traz as duas variantes. Cf. SCHLEGEL, Friedrich.
