Title: | Tecnologias semânticas para avaliar projetos construtivos sustentáveis |
Other Titles: | Semantic technologies to assess sustainable construction projects |
Authors: | Cristiano Geraldo Teixeira Silva Marcello Peixoto Bax |
Abstract: | Evaluating constructive projects aims to measure how sustainable the buildings are, and this is important to save the environment from increasing deterioration. However, most assessment tasks are still performed manually, consuming time and increasing the possibility of errors. The use of semantic technologies is an alternative to systematize and accelerate the evaluation process. It presents the uses of semantic technologies and a simplified BIM ontology to integrate data from BIM (Building Information Modeling) projects and other tabular data external to the project to automate LEED certification tasks (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification. To validate a prototype, data from a BIM project and tabulated open data from the city of Belo Horizonte are annotated semantically, and a knowledge graph is generated in RDF format. Once integrated into the graph, the data is used to assess the certification criteria through consultation. The preliminary results suggest that applying these technologies promotes the semantic extension of the building elements in BIM, facilitating their integration with other knowledge bases and organizing the data conceptually to better retrieve information. |
