| Abstract: | O texto aborda, em linhas gerais, o estado da Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento no Brasil em relação ao contexto mundial para, em seguida, discorrer sobre a estruturação do sistema nacional de pós-graduação e refletir sobre a pesquisa em educação e seus percalços na atualidade. A discussão tem como principal objetivo problematizar os rumos da pesquisa em educação frente à crise institucional vivida pelas universidades brasileiras, em um contexto que envolve: i) retração significativa do investimento público na educação superior, ciência e tecnologia nos últimos anos e crescente condicionamento da agenda por editais e fundos setoriais; ii) supervalorização do conhecimento sobre educação formulado no âmbito de instituições multilaterais tais como a Organização para a Cooperação e Desenvolvimento Econômico (OCDE), baseado em estatísticas e evidências, em detrimento do conhecimento crítico produzido pela comunidade científica; e iii) avanço de um movimento negacionista, liderado pelo governo de Jair Bolsonaro, que se manifesta contra as universidades e todas as instituições que correspondem às ideias e ao espírito do iluminismo. |
| Abstract: | The text discusses the state of Research and Development in Brazil in relation to the world context, the structuring of the national postgraduate system and then reflects on research in education and its problems today. The main objective is to problematize the direction of research in education in the face of the institutional crisis experienced by Brazilian universities, in a context that involves: i) significant retraction of public investment in higher education, science and technology in recent years and increasing conditioning of the agenda by sectorial funds; ii) overvaluation of knowledge about education formulated within multilateral institutions such as the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), based on statistics and evidence, to the detriment of critical knowledge produced by the scientific community; and iii) the advancement of a negationist movement, led by the government of Jair Bolsonaro, which demonstrates against universities and all institutions that correspond to the ideas and spirit of the Enlightenment. |
