| Abstract: | Fundamentalmente, as pesquisas em Didática da Matemática têm se ocupado com a constituição de mecanismos de valoração dos aspectos didáticos que circunstanciam os processos de ensino, de aprendizagem e de avaliação da matemática escolar. Neste artigo, espera-se problematizar como esses mecanismos, se tomados de modo descuidado, podem atuar como dispositivos de domesticação da escola: uma série de táticas e de estratégias que visam eliminar, restringir, coagir, neutralizar ou controlar o espaço escolar, desviando-o de um sentido de tempo livre que, outrora, lhe fora atribuído. Ao final, articula-se essa discussão com um episódio sobre o ensino de funções em uma turma de nono ano do Ensino Fundamental, buscando levantar questões e perspectivas outras para a Didática da Matemática. |
| Abstract: | Fundamentally, the research in Didactics of Mathematics is concerned with how the evaluation mechanisms of educational aspects that consider teaching, learning and evaluation processes of scholarly mathematics are constituted. This article aims to discuss how these mechanisms, if undertaken carelessly, could operate as school domestication devices: a series of tactics and strategies that aim to eliminate, restrict, coerce, neutralize or control the scholastic environment, thereby causing it to deviate from its previously assigned sense of “free time”. Lastly, this article will analyse a case regarding the teaching of functions in a ninth grade elementary school class, with the aim of raising other questions and perspectives for the Didactics of Mathematics. |
