| Abstract: | Esse artigo tem por objetivo fazer uma descrição ampla da morte do cantor Michael Jackson, enxergando-a sob a perspectiva de uma leitura acontecimental. Procuramos verificar como este episódio afeta os sujeitos em seus campos de experiências e analisar o esforço da mídia para dar conta de algo que está para além de uma simples descrição. Para tanto, verificaremos matérias do site de notícias Folha Online, do portal especializado em celebridades EGO e da rede social Orkut. Pretendemos fazer uma abordagem genérica deste evento social que marcou de forma singular a vida das pessoas e a dinâmica dos meios. |
| Abstract: | This article has as purpose make a broad description of the death of singer Michael Jackson, seeing it from the perspective of a reading from the perspective of the event. We try to see how this episode affects individuals in their fields of experience and analyze the media effort to account for something that is beyond a simple description. To this end, we find reports of the news website Folha Online, the portal specializing in celebrity EGO and social network Orkut. We intend to make a general thrust of this social event that marked the unique way people's lives and the dynamics of the media. |
