| Title: | O novo curso de graduação na Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais: Letras-Libras e seus desafios no Ensino Remoto Emergencial |

| Abstract: | Este artigo discorre sobre o curso de graduação em Letras-Libras - Licenciatura, na Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), desde a concepção da área de Libras na universidade até o momento atual. Aborda-se sucintamente a inclusão de Pessoas com deficiências (PCD) no contexto social e acadêmico, destacando-se os surdos. Discutem-se estratégias de ensino tanto presencial quanto no Ensino Remoto Emergencial (ERE) e as plataformas utilizadas para que fosse possível alcançar alunos surdos e ouvintes de maneira adequada e inclusiva. Apresentam-se as perspectivas do aluno e do professor em um tempo tão único, as dificuldades e as soluções propostas, além de novas perspectivas para esse novo curso presencial em um momento de pandemia, com o ERE. |
| Abstract: | This paper discusses the undergraduate course Letras-Libras – Licentiate Degree at UFMG, from the conception of the Libras area in the university to the present moment. It is briefly addressed the inclusion of People with disabilities (PCD) in the social and academic context, especially the deaf. We discuss teaching strategies in person and in Emergency Remote Education (ERE) and the platforms used to reach deaf and hearing students in an appropriate and inclusive way. The perspectives of the student and the teacher are presented in such a unique time, the difficulties and the proposed solutions, as well as new perspectives for this new course in person in a pandemic moment, with the ERE. |
