| Abstract: | O presente texto trata-se de um relato de experiência de intervenção pedagógica, intitulado: Conhecendo a comunidade dos Arturos. A referida intervenção pedagógica foi desenvolvida nas aulas de História, com estudantes do 8º ano do Ensino Fundamental, na Escola Municipal Prefeito Sebastião Camargos, da prefeitura de Contagem. Essa temática é fruto de reflexões realizadas durante o curso de Especialização em Políticas de Promoção da Igualdade Racial, da Faculdade de Educação, da UFMG. O desenvolvimento dessa experiência teve como objetivo principal aproximar os estudantes da Comunidade dos Arturos, a fim de que esses compreendam, reconheçam e valorizem as culturas e tradições do povo quilombola. A estratégia utilizada foi apresentar temas relacionados à História e Culturas dos Africanos e afrodescendente, a fim de que, ao final do projeto didático, houvesse uma visita à comunidade dos Arturos |
| Abstract: | This text it is a reort of education experiment entitled: Knowing the community of Arturos this eperiment has been developed in history classes, with students of the 8th grade of elementary school , at Prefeito Camargos junior high in the city of Contagem . This theme is the result of reflections made during the course of specialization in Promotion of Racial Equality of UFMG Education University. The development of this experience aimed to bring students from the Community of Arturos, so that they understand, recognize and value the culture and traditions of the people of quilombo. The strategy was to present issues related to the history and culture of the African and African Descendants, so that at the end of the educational project , there was a visit to the community of Arturos |
