| Title: | Eficácia do treino de marcha na esteira em crianças com paralisia cerebral: uma revisão bibliográfica |

| Abstract: | A paralisia cerebral (PC) é definida como um grupo de distúrbios permanentes e não progressivos, que afetam o desenvolvimento do movimento e da postura, causando alterações musculoesqueléticas. Esses distúrbios motores são comuns nesta condição de saúde e levam às limitações funcionais, especialmente na capacidade de se mover e na velocidade da marcha das crianças com PC. Assim, melhorar a velocidade da marcha é um dos principais objetivos terapêuticos do tratamento de crianças com PC. Objetivo: O presente estudo teve como objetivo realizar uma revisão bibliográfica referente aos efeitos da intervenção treino de marcha na esteira na velocidade da marcha em crianças com PC. Método: Foi realizada uma busca da literatura nas seguintes bases de dados: PEDro, Scielo, MEDLINE via PubMed e Lilacs, com o termo gai/marcht (marcha) associado com cerebral palsy (PC), childrem (crianças) e o seu cruzamento com velocidade de marcha (walking speed), marcha em esteira (treadmill march), no período entre abril a junho de 2022. Foram selecionados ensaios clínicos, ensaios clínicos randomizados, metanálise e revisão sistemática, dos últimos 15 anos, que realizaram treino de marcha na esteira em crianças com PC. Posteriormente, os estudos selecionados foram analisados criticamente. Resultados: A busca bibliográfica resultou em um total de 74 citações sobre o tema. Após a remoção de duplicatas, triagem dos resumos e avaliação em texto completo, 09 artigos foram selecionados com as características adequadas para serem incluídos e analisados neste estudo. Conclusão: Os achados sugeriram que o treinamento de marcha na esteira na PC é eficaz para velocidade da marcha, podendo ser uma importante estratégia de intervenção a ser utilizada nessa população, a maioria dos estudos demonstrou que também houve melhora significativa nos desfechos da cadência, resistência e scores no GMFM. |
| Abstract: | Introduction: Cerebral palsy (CP) is currently defined as a group of permanent, non-progressive disorders that affect the development of movement and posture, causing musculoskeletal changes and limitations in activity and participation. These motor disorders are common in this health condition and lead to functional limitations in individuals with CP, especially in the ability to move and gait speed. Thus, improving gait speed is one of the main therapeutic goals of treatment in children with CP. Objective: The present study aimed to carry out a literature review regarding the effects of treadmill gait training on gait speed in children with cerebral palsy. Method: A literature search was performed in the following databases: PEDro, Scielo, MEDLINE via PubMed and Lilacs, with the term gai/marcht (gait) associated with cerebral palsy (PC), childrem (children) and its crossing with walking speed, treadmill march, from April to June 2022. Clinical trials, randomized clinical trials, meta-analysis and systematic review were selected from the last 15 years, which performed gait training in treadmill in children with pc. Subsequently, the selected studies were critically analyzed. Results: The bibliographic search resulted in a total of 74 citations on the topic. After removing duplicates, screening the abstracts and evaluating the full text, 09 articles were selected with the appropriate characteristics to be included and analyzed in this study. Conclusion: The findings suggested that treadmill gait training in CP is effective for gait speed, and may be an important intervention strategy to be used in this population, most studies have shown that there was also a significant improvement in cadence, resistance and scores outcomes. on GMFM |
