| Title: | Ensino de língua portuguesa: uma experiência com tempos verbais em aula de gramática |

| Abstract: | As aulas de tópicos gramaticais continuam recebendo atenção especial no ensino de língua portuguesa, também pela insegurança do professor em relação a ensinar ou não “gramática”. Como sabemos, essa questão relaciona-se diretamente à concepção com a qual o docente opera as práticas de sala de aula. Compreendendo “gramática” como o conjunto de mecanismos linguísticos responsáveis pela produção de sentidos de um texto (BAGNO, 2012), este trabalho relata uma experiência realizada com uma turma de 9º. ano do ensino fundamental de uma escola pública da Bahia, tendo como foco em tempos verbais. Aliar essa concepção de gramática a uma postura reflexiva e dialógica de ensino parece ser uma possibilidade de realizar um trabalho significativo em sala. |
| Abstract: | Lessons on grammatical topics continue to receive special attention in Portuguese language teaching, also due to the teacher’s insecurity regarding whether or not to teach ‘grammar’. As we know, this issue is directly related to the conception with which the teacher operates the classroom practices. Understanding ‘grammar’ as the set of linguistic mechanisms responsible for the production of meaning in a text (BAGNO, 2012), this paper reports an experience conducted with a 9th graders group of a public school in Bahia, Brazil, focusing on the verb tenses. Combining this conception of grammar with a reflective and dialogical teaching approach seems to be a possibility to carry out meaningful work in the classroom. |
