Análise de obras literárias mais requisitadas por crianças em processo de alfabetização

Abstract

In the field of possibilities for investigations about children's literature in Brazil, the analysis of children's book with greater and better reception by students bring a series of elements capable of promoting reflections about preferences by the target audience, which can contribute to think mediations possible in the context of elementary school. This paper aims to analyze literary books most requested by children enrolled in the third year of Elementary Education at Centro Pedagógico Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (CP-UFMG). For this, the methodology is documentary research, with the following stages of development: in a first movement from a list generated by the library system, a survey was made of all the books that were lent over the course of an academic year by two classes, identifying each loan individually. In a second movement, the analysis of these literary books most requested by one of the classes was made. The results obtained so far point to a preference for books with similar graphic-editorial projects with vibrant colors and recurring thematic puns, riddles and anecdotes. The analyzes allow us to identify a connection between the consolidation phase of literacy and the intense exposure to phonological awareness skills with literary choices that privilege the playful aspect of the language and the possibility of interaction in books. The research also brings some important notes in relation to the selection and suitability to the target audience in certain parts of the analyzed collection.
