| Title: | Análise de métodos de interpolação para o mapeamento da precipitação na bacia do reservatório de Nova Ponte/MG |

| Abstract: | A chuva é a entrada efetiva de água no ciclo hidrológico, por isso, estudar a sua distribuição espacial é fundamental para a gestão dos recursos hídricos. O objetivo desse trabalho é interpolar a precipitação para a bacia da usina de Nova Ponte no estado de Minas Gerais, por meio dos interpoladores Inverso da Distância Ponderada (IDW), Cokrigagem e Mínima Curvatura (Spline). Essa bacia é uma sub bacia do Rio Araguari, que por sua vez compõe a bacia do Rio Paranaíba. Foram selecionadas para esse estudo 34 estações pluviométricas e a série histórica utilizada compreendeu os anos de 1975 a 2016. A validação cruzada realizada apontou que o Spline usando a altitude como variável independente apresenta os melhores resultados de interpolação para área em estudo, entretanto os outros dois métodos também tiveram ajustes aceitáveis. |
| Abstract: | Rainfall is an effective input of water in the hydrological cycle, therefore studying its spatial distribution is essential for water resources management. The objective of this work is to interpolate the update for the Nova Ponte hydroelectric basin in the state of Minas Gerais, using the Inverse Distance Weighted (IDW), Cokriging and Minimum Curvature (Spline) interpolators. This basin is a sub-basin of the Araguari River, which in turn makes up the Paranaíba River basin. Thirty-four rainfall stations were selected for this study and the historical series used covered the years 1975 to 2016. The cross-validation performed revealed that the Spline using altitude as an independent variable presents the best interpolation results for the study area, however the other two methods also presented acceptable adjustments. |
