| Abstract: | Esta pesquisa cienciométrica analisou 553 publicações cobrindo o período de 1958 a 2021 a fim de identificar os principais países, temas e locais de estudo dos solos antárticos, reconhecidos como indicadores confiáveis das mudanças climáticas no continente branco. Os dados foram obtidos das bases Web of Science e Scopus e analisados através de redes de coautoria, palavras-chave e mapas temáticos. A análise revelou altas produtividade, internacionalização, colaboração e citação no campo, com EUA, Nova Zelândia, Brasil, Espanha e Rússia liderando. As pesquisas focaram nas domínios das geociências, biologia e relações humano-ambiente, abordando principalmente temas como geoquímica, monitoramento do permafrost, biorremediação, bioprospecção e biologia molecular. A Península Antártica e os Vales Secos das Montanhas Transantárticas foram as regiões mais estudadas. |
| Abstract: | This scientometric research analyzed 553 publications covering the period from 1958 to 2021 in order to identify the main countries, themes, and study sites of Antarctic soils, recognized as reliable indicators of climate change on the white continent. The data were obtained from the Web of Science and Scopus databases and analyzed through co-authorship networks, keywords, and thematic maps. The analysis revealed high productivity, internationalization, collaboration, and citation in the field, with the USA, New Zealand, Brazil, Spain, and Russia leading. The research focused on the domains of geosciences, biology, and human-environment relations, mainly addressing topics such as geochemistry, permafrost monitoring, bioremediation, bioprospecting, and molecular biology. The Antarctic Peninsula and the Dry Valleys of the Transantarctic Mountains were the most studied regions. |
