O empoderamento dos farmacêuticos na implantação do serviço clínico farmacêutico em Lagoa Santa/MG

Abstract

The current scenario of health care requires the pharmaceutical professional to do more than just supply the medicine. In this scenario, for the implementation of the GTM pharmaceutical clinical service in the SUS, it is necessary to reorganize Pharmaceutical Assistance to allow the pharmacist to work both in inventory management and clinical patient care, creating the space and structure that allows the inclusion of a new clinical service. For this, action research was used as a tool for managing and democratizing relationships in Pharmaceutical Assistance in its restructuring process for the insertion of the GTM clinical service in the municipality of Lagoa Santa/MG. As a result, we highlight the empowerment and autonomy of pharmacists, since action research enables collaborative construction, maintaining direction and focus on the innovation that is being implemented. Furthermore, this methodology encourages participants to become reflective on what they can learn about themselves, personally and professionally. The project contributed to the restructuring of Pharmaceutical Assistance, redirecting the focus of action on the pharmacist, who now assumes the role of supervisor of activities aimed at the stock of medicines, and executor of activities aimed at the patient, in addition to the preparation of documents and POPs for the qualification and standardization of the service offered. In addition, it allowed the pharmacist to interact with other health professionals, bringing good results to the team's work.
