| Abstract: | Durante as décadas de 1970 e 1980, o violonista brasileiro Turíbio Santos assinou uma coleção na Éditions Max Eschig. A partir de determinado momento, Turíbio vislumbrou a possibilidade da criação de um novo repertório para o instrumento e encomendou obras a sete compositores brasileiros. Esta coleção pode ser considerada uma significativa amostragem a composição brasileira para violão à época. A heterogeneidade das obras reflete, por sua vez, diferente conhecimento e prática de cada compositor em relação ao violão. As entrevistas realizadas mostraram que o violonista atuou somente na proposição da digitação das obras, sem interferir na fatura final das mesmas. Por fim, foram levantamos alguns dados para entender o porquê de algumas obras terem tido o favor imediato de intérpretes e, consequentemente, do público. |
| Abstract: | During the 1970s and 1980s, the Brazilian guitarist Turíbio Santos signed a collection at Éditions Max Eschig. At a certain point, Turíbio glimpsed the possibility of creating a new repertoire for the instrument and comissioned some works to seven brazilian composers. This collection can be considered a relevant sampling of the brazilian guitar composition at that time. The heterogeneity of these works reflects, on the other hand, different knowledge and pratice of each composer in relation to the guitar. The interviews showed that the guitarist acted only in the proposition of the fingering in each work, without interfere in the final result of the musical pieces. Finally, data were collected to understand why some works have been the immediate approval of interpreters and, hence the public. |
