| Abstract: | O estudo compara as necessidades de informação de gerentes e seus subordinados em empresas de setor siderúrgico no estado de Minas Gerais. As fontes de informação referentes aos ambientes externo foram analisados quantoá á sua importância de acesso, confiabilidade, disponibilidade e volume/quantidade de informação transmitidas. Os testes de hipóteses permitiram concluir, dentre outros elementos, que os gerentes estão mais voltados para a busca de informação do que os técnicos. |
| Abstract: | The study compares information needs of managers and their sobordinates in the metalurgy industry in the State of Minas Gerais, Brazil, External and internal information sources were assessed in terms of their importance, frequency of acess, reability and volume of information transmited. The tests of hypotheses led to the conclusion that among other factors, managers are more involved in information seach than nomanagerial professionals. |
