Abstract: | O climatério é alvo de mitos e de mau entendimento e também um período abrangente da vida feminina, caracterizado por alterações metabólicas e hormonais que trazem mudanças envolvendo o contexto psicossocial. Sua sintomatologia não é universal, mas varia de acordo com fatores que determinam a maneira de como esses sintomas são percebidos. A motivação maior que levou a desenvolver este estudo foi através da observação das mulheres climatéricas atendidas no Programa de Saúde da Família. Para elaboração do presente trabalho, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica em bancos de artigos científicos, alem de livros e periódicos pertinentes à temática, buscando obter informações sobre o climatério e a percepção das mulheres neste ciclo de vida. Visando melhorar a assistência a mulher nessa nova fase de vida, torna-se relevante a pesquisa em relação ao tema e a implantação de grupos no Programa de Saúde da Família com objetivo de atender a mulher climatérica de forma integral, abordando aspectos emocionais, biológicos e sociais de sua saúde, priorizando a prevenção e promoção da saúde e conseqüentemente a melhoria da qualidade de vida através de trocas de experiências e da problematização de conceitos e aquisição de novos conhecimentos. |
Abstract: | Menopause is the subject of myths and misunderstanding and also a comprehensive period of female life, characterized by metabolic and hormonal changes that bring involving the psychosocial context. Its symptomatology is not universal, but varies according to factors that determine the way of how these symptoms are noticed. The greatest motivation that led him to develop this study was through observation of the menopausal women treated at the Family Health Program. For the present work, we performed a literature search in databases of scientific articles, in addition to books and periodicals relevant to the topic, seeking information about menopause and the perception of women in this life cycle. Aiming to improve care for women in this new phase of life, it becomes relevant research in relation to the theme groups and the implementation of the Family Health Program in order to meet climacteric women holistically, addressing emotional, biological and social their health, giving priority to prevention and health promotion and consequently to improve the quality of life through exchanges of experiences and the questioning of concepts and acquisition of new knowledge. |
