Sexo e sexualidade na Educação Infantil: algumas considerações sobre como abordar a questão com crianças de 2 e 3 anos

Abstract

The present study has examined how early childhood professionals perceive and deal with issues of childhood sexuality. The exploratory study has sought to know how the educators, working with children two and three years, perceive and deal with these issues in a daycare daily, beyond seeking to understand what says the legislation to guide these professionals. In order to answer these questions, Ive decided by the research intervention, performing some exploratory interviews and, after, an intervention in the target studied. The findings were analyzed and compared from Schindhelm who has made some investigations in order to know childhood sexuality and its manifestations at school. We has also rely on RCNEI that recognize the importance of sexuality in development and psyche and on Zomig and Schindhelm, that address this issue shielded by Freud and Foucault. We can say, after all, that is at school that appears most manifestations of sexuality because this is a place of social interaction that is very favorable to them. It can be noticed that educators still have the vision of childhood as "a time of innocence" and dont know how to act in certain situations. For most interviewees. Another problem concerns to the relationship with families. The fear of the reaction of parents who think childhood sexuality is an "error" makes them believe that they should just repress or pretend not to see anything.
