Registro de histórico vacinal no ambiente hospitalar: estratégias de educação para a saúde

Abstract

It is noteworthy that the preventive measures that fall within the context of the integrality of the health care are proportional to the quality of Health Education and to the didactical discussed methods. This study aimed to identify strategies in Health Education that foment the record of the Vaccine Chart in hospitals, through the method of Literature'sIntegrative Review, with data extracted from the virtual scientific basis LILACS, SCIELO, BIREME and BVS. From the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 23 publications were selected to compose the discussions. The authors wander from the space that the National Immunization Program occupies in Brazilian literature, and from how the propagation of the vaccine in Brazil and in the world had as your allies the actions of Health Education, stating that vaccination is one of the greatest advances of medical technology in the recent decades; from how there is a need for actions that promote a vaccination coverage by updating vaccinationcard, and the need of immunization record when assisting the individual, to avoid the chance of missed vaccination opportunities, independently of the level of complexity in health care. It was concluded that, considering the gap observed in scientific production, discussions with the Health Education's departments are needed, with the purpose of enable future researches that add knowledge to the professionals and supply the need of studies on Educational Strategies that corroborate and establish the quality of the records in hospitals, valuing the Vaccine Chart, in order to contribute to the assistance of the individual.
