| Abstract: | O presente estudo tem como objetivo abordar a maneira como a crise institucional da república se fez representar nos Discorsi de Maquiavel. Esta obra é analisada ao longo deste trabalho, tendo como hipótese de leitura a possibilidade das instituições republicanas serem determinadas sobretudo pela necessidade de afirmação do estado no cenário internacional. |
| Abstract: | The objective of this study is to account for the way the institutional crisis in the republic was represented in Maquiavel's 'Discorsi'. This work is analysed throughout this study, hypothesising that republican institutions can be determined above all by the need to affirm the 'state' in the international scenary. |
