dc.description.abstract | Nowadays, the automotive industry has a concern for the environment (CO2 emissions) and vehicular safety. The situation has led to many studies in the area, whose objective is to develop new high strength materials that would allow a reduction in the vehicle weight and thus also in fuel consumption, simultaneously with increased safety. This work aimed to study the influence of three different high-strength steels, specifically the Dual Phase of 1000 MPa strength class, where the chemical composition and processing during annealing were modified, in the result of the hole expansion test. Three different DP steel coils were sampled, which were analyzed concerning their mechanical properties, microstructures and the hole expansion ratio. From the results it was possible to analyze the influence of microstructure on the result of the ratio of the hole expansion and its mechanical properties. | pt_BR |
| pt_BR |
