| Title: | Algoritmo FDTD para a análise de circuitos passivos emmicrofita com dielétricos de pequenas perdas |

| Abstract: | O presente trabalho apresenta resultados da aplicação da técnica de FDTD em circuitos de microfita. Esses circuitos são analisados no domínido do tempo por meio das suas repostas impusionais, e também da frequência onde são apresentados os parâmetros de espalhamento. Tais análises são realizadas com a utilização da técnica WP-PML de condição de contorno que permite avaliar as perdas nos circuitos evidenciando seus efeitos nas figuras de mérito que os representam. As análises foram realizadas de forma a contemplar circuitos com substratos de baixas e altas perdas, mostrando a pouca atenuação causada pelas baixas perdas nas respostas em ambos os domínios. Esse contexto mostra a aplicabilidade da referida técnica em circuitos de microfita sob diferentes condições, incluindo a possibilidade ainda de uma resposta impulsional obtida com menor utilização de manipulações matemáticas entre domínios. |
| Abstract: | The present work presents results of the application of the FDTD technique on microstrip circuits. These circuits are analyzed in time domain by their impulse response and in frequency domain where the scattering parameters are presented. These analyses are realized with the utilization of the WP-PML boundary condition that allows theevaluation of losses on the circuits and their effects on the merit figures that represents them. Circuits including high and low loss substrate were analysed and results showed the little attenuation caused by the low losses in both domains. This context show the applicability of the technique in microstrip circuits under different conditions, including thepossibility of an impulsional response obtained with less use of mathematical manipulations between domains. |
