| Title: | O impacto do transbordo em sistemas Integrados de transporte coletivo por ônibus: uma análise quantitativa e qualitativa no município de Belo Horizonte |

| Abstract: | O crescimento das cidades brasileiras nos últimos anos tem acarretado a proliferação de linhas sobrepostas, causando aumento dos custos do sistema e diminuição dos níveis de serviço oferecidos aos usuários. Com o objetivo de solucionar esses problemas, várias cidades optaram pela implantação de sistemas integrados de transportes. No entanto, há uma questão fundamental que deve ser analisada: a implantação deste tipo de sistema, visando obter melhorias significativas para os usuários, é realmente viável economicamente e bem avaliada pela população?. O objetivo do presente trabalho é analisar qualitativa e quantitativamente os impactos causados aos usuários de um sistema integrado de transporte público por ônibus, através de um estudo de caso realizado na Estação Venda Nova, no município de Belo Horizonte MG. Para tanto, foram realizadas entrevistas com usuários da referida estação e desenvolvidos cenários que permitiram comparações entre os dados de oferta dos serviços, bem como dos custos necessários à operação do sistema de transporte apresentado em cada um deles. Através dos resultados obtidos, percebeu-se que a variável mais importante para a escolha do usuário em relação ao tipo de sistema de transporte foi a necessidade ou não de se realizar um segundo transbordo, além daquele imposto pelo sistema integrado, para chegar ao destino final. No entanto, pela avaliação dos usuários, mesmo quando se impõe a realização de dois transbordos em seus deslocamentos, esse sistema equipara-se ou é melhor que o convencional. A partir dos resultados obtidos na análise quantitativa, verificou-se que o sistema integrado gerou benefícios para os usuários, como maior acessibilidade e redução de custos e dos tempos de viagem, percebidos e confirmados através da aceitação demonstrada na pesquisa de opinião pública realizada. Dessa forma, pode-se dizer que, mesmo com a imposição dos transbordos no sistema integrado de transportes de Venda Nova, os benefícios proporcionados tendem a sobressair-se em relação aos transtornos impostos com este tipo de sistema |
| Abstract: | The growth of Brazilian cities in the last years has led to the proliferation of overlapping lines, causing increased costs of the system and decrease of the service levels offered to the users. With the purpose of finding solutions for these problems, several cities have opted for the implantation of transport integrated systems. However, there is a crucial issue that must be analyzed: is the implantation of this kind of system aiming to significant improvement for the users, actually economically viable and well assessed by the population? The purpose of the current study is to analyze qualitatively and quantitatively the impacts to the users of a public transport integrated system by bus, through a study carried out in the Estação Venda Nova (Venda Nova Station), Belo Horizonte, MG. To this end, interviews with the users of the mentioned station were carried out, and scenarios were developed to allow comparisons between the services offer data, as well as concerning the costs necessary for the transport system operation presented in each. Through the results obtained from the interviews, it was realized that the most important variable for the user's choice of the type of transport system was: the need or not to hold a second transfer, in addition to that imposed by the integrated system, in order to reach the final destination. However, through the users assessment, even when it requires two commutes on the move, this system meets or is better than the conventional one. From the results obtained in the quantitative analysis, it was found that the integrated system has generated benefits to the users, such as: improved accessibility and reduced costs and travel times, which were perceived by the users and confirmed by the acceptance demonstrated in the public opinion research held. Thus, it can be said that even with the imposition of commutes in the Venda Nova transport integrated system, the benefits provided tend to excel the disorders imposed by this kind of system |
