Constrangimentos vivenciados pelos soldadores no processo de manutenção de implementos em uma oficina de soldagem

Abstract

This is a study that presents the constraints experienced by welders who work at an office specialized in the Maintenance of Earthwork Implements in a Mining Company, where main-tenances and reconstitutions of excavators and backhoes buckets, blade of tractors and pieces of large drill are done. The Results show that the lack of equipments required to handling the implements and to sup-port the tools, the irregular way in which workers are exposed to weather, the delay in the delivery of the implements that arrive to the maintenances are configured as constraints in the welders activity and increase the amount of physical fatigue. The method employed in the development of this study was the Ergonomic Work Analysis and trough systematic observations, it was possible to evaluate that the constraints expe-rienced by the welders make them work in a negative conditions. The Welders mobilize their skills and the competencies to develop strategies to regulate the labor effort and save energy. After understanding the work conditions, some recommendations were made to move the im-plements, restructuration of the workshop and the production organization.
