Abstract: | This work presents the lightning performance evaluation of an electric power overhead rural distribution line, with nominal voltage of 34,5kV. Information about interruptions were collected in a database, which had registries from March 2006 until December 2011.It is also evaluated the estimated performance of the distribution line, based on IEEE Std 1410-2010 Guide for Improving the Lightning Performance of Electric Power Overhead Distribution Lines. At the end, the differences between the actual performance and the estimated performance are presented and discussed. |
