| Abstract: | The cinema, as a cultural product capable of mediatinginstances individual and collective approach enables itsinterpretations by non-target, but able to raise collectivelyshared meanings in time and space. Having the film Cidadede Deus as the center of analysis, this study aims to reflect onthe representations that are constructed by the recentBrazilian cinema about the theme of poverty. |
